Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using EquipMap ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including renters, vendors, and visitors.

2. Platform Role

EquipMap is a marketplace that connects equipment renters with independent equipment vendors. EquipMap is not the owner or operator of rental equipment and is not a party to the rental agreement between renter and vendor.

3. Rental Orders

Submitting a rental request does not guarantee availability. Orders are confirmed only after a vendor accepts the request and an invoice is issued. Payment is due upon invoice issuance unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date. Cancellations made after this window may be subject to a fee.

4. Vendor Obligations

Vendors are responsible for delivering equipment in safe, operational condition. All equipment must comply with applicable safety regulations. Vendors are independent contractors and not employees of EquipMap.

5. Damage & Liability

Renters are responsible for any damage to equipment occurring during the rental period beyond normal wear and tear. EquipMap recommends renters carry appropriate insurance coverage.

EquipMap is not liable for damages, injuries, or losses arising from the use of rented equipment.

6. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Authorize.net. By providing payment information you authorize EquipMap to charge the amount shown on your invoice.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, to harass other users, to submit false information, or to circumvent our marketplace by conducting transactions outside the Platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our discretion without prior notice.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
